Brighton to London Future Car Challenge #4

November 6, 2010 § Leave a comment

Fewer one-offs, home-built conversions and prototypes from start-ups than at the Eco-Rally earlier this year, but this MGF was out to represent the Electric Power Car Club, which bills itself as “a UK resource for owners, supporters and builders of serious electric vehicles.”

It was good to see the Zytek-developed electric taxi, the Mercedes-Benz eVito, too, but sadly, I couldn’t get close to the one new car I really did want to get a good look at: the Gordon Murray T.25, first over the starting line and away to London before  I could so much as get my camera out. Apparently it looks very together and ‘finished’ for a pre-production prototype (according to a guy whose opinion I trust) which indicates that it should be pretty well ready to go once Murray licenses it as intended.
