Paris preview: Citroen Lacoste

September 22, 2010 § Leave a comment

Citroen has built a beach buggy-type concept car in collaboration with sportswear firm Lacoste. This stripped-out, back-to-basics fun runaround looks amusing, with some nice detailing, but the interesting feature from a future-driving point of view is the new three-cylinder petrol engine. No more on this as yet, but it’s said to have “plenty of performance on tap to power a vehicle of this size and weight”, and to be “flexible, economical and ecological.” Look out for this in future small production Citroens.
