Honda improves Insight’s ride

July 19, 2010 § Leave a comment

Honda has made some much-needed tweaks to its Insight hybrid, following feedback from owners and early criticism from the media. Modifications to the suspension include adjusting the spring recoil rate, changes to the rear camber angle, and a redesign for the rear suspension brace and mounts. Honda promises “improved ride, handling and stability”; the Insight’s flat, unsupportive seats remain the same, however, aside from new colours. There’s also two new paint colours to choose from, plus some new trim and options; prices start from £14,995 so the Insight is at least cheaper than the Prius (if neither as technically sophisticated, as fun to drive nor as comfortable).
