Eco-Rally #4

This is Michael Webb of ChargePointServices, launching their electric and plug-in hybrid vehicle charging technology. Webb admits his London-based firm is late to the party – Brighton’s own Elektromotive has cornered much of the market in the UK thus far – but says that they can offer a unique all-in package covering production, sales, installation, maintenance, hook-up with an energy supplier and bespoke solutions for clients, plus a switchable fast-charge mode at 32amps. It’s all their own software, pay-as-you-go charging can be integrated, and there are four different designs from a small plug-in post to a large commercial-sized bulkhead.  A small solar panel on the top can capture enough energy to power the post’s own internal operations, but not enough to actually charge a vehicle.
