Geneva Motor Show: Citroen Survolt

March 2, 2010 § Leave a comment

The Survolt has been inspired by Citroen’s WRC cars in terms of its exterior styling, but it’s more of a city slicker – “a blend of high fashion, extravagance and more than a hint of motor racing punch”, says the blurb. It has the same electric powertrain as the earlier Revolte concept,  and is a compact, supermini-cum-coupe: just 3.85m long and 1.2m tall, but 1.87m wide.

It shares many of its styling details with the Revolte, but has new detailing and a new two-tone paint finish which flips from fuchsia pink to charcoal grey.  Its light, airy two-seater cabin is trimmed in chrome and aluminium. A preview of an upcoming DS-line model to join the DS High Rider (previewed here), perhaps?
