US-wide EV recharging infrastructure underway

The Car Charging Group, Miami, is planning to roll out a nationwide recharging infrastructure for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids in the US. It is to source Level 3 fast-charging points (480-volt, 125-amp) designed by Coulomb Technologies (of Campbell, California), and fit them as standalone points in existing petrol stations; the first points will be installed in South Florida, with national and then international networks then planned.
