A couple of electrical snippets:

Audi is to designate its electric vehicles e-tron, reports Autoweek, with a growing product-line of vehicles to take the name.  Production of the first model is scheduled for 2012, with an initial run of 1000 vehicles.  Audi has shown two e-tron concept cars, the first, developed from the R8 supercar, at last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, and the second (pictured), a more compact sports coupe shown in January in Detroit.

Renault is looking for an Indian partner firm to co-develop and build its Twizy ZE city scooter, reports Autocar India. The Twizy is a four-wheeled, two-seater mobility solution idea for both developing regions and densely-populated urban areas, and can do 46mph.
