Geneva preview: Protoscar Lampo2

Yellow peril: this fish-faced electric sports car prototype can do 124mph and 0-62mph in five seconds, thanks to a pair of 300kw motors driving  both axles. With lithium-ion batteries, it has a range of 124 miles, and a 10-minute fast-charge gives it a 62-mile range.

The Lampo2 is the work of Swiss firm Protoscar, and is a further development of the Lampo touted around last year. It’s based on the GM Kappa platform (Saturn Sky, Pontiac Solstice). It’s just a test-lab for various technologies, such as the Brusa motors and fast-charge system, apparently, but it’ll be on display at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
